About Halali Dam and Reservoir
Halali Dam is a man-made reservoir located in Raisen district, which is quite popular among the locals as an excellent place for picnics and boat rides. The Halali Dam was constructed in 1973 on the Halali River, a tributary of the Betwa River. The reservoir, mainly used for irrigation and fisheries, attracts a large number of birds during the winter. It is ideal for stress and relaxation.
