Note:
Currently, the ticketing system in the metro will be completely manual. Passengers will have to purchase tickets from counters, similar to the railway system. Online or automatic ticketing systems have not yet been implemented.
Bhoj Metro News & Updates
Seeing the enthusiasm for the metro in Bhopal, the metro management is now exploring the possibility of operating trains on the second track as well. Currently, with only one train running between Subhash Nagar and AIIMS, passengers are facing long waits of up to 75 minutes. Therefore, additional trains may be introduced during peak hours in the new year.

Union Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will inaugurate the metro. He will tour Bhopal in a three-coach metro decorated with flowers. People will be able to travel for free in the first week. The date of commercial operations may also change. Instead of December 21st, the metro may start on December 20th. However, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has already stated that the metro will be inaugurated on December 21st at the Khajuraho Convention Center. Prior to this, discussions are underway between the BJP organization, the government, and officials regarding the commercial operation program.

Under the second phase, girder launching will be done from Karond intersection to CIAE campus via Lambakheda Road (Bairsia Road). To ensure smooth execution of the work, traffic restrictions will be in force from 11 pm to 6 am daily from November 24 to December 4.
