Blue Line History, Facts & Expansion

The Blue Line of the Agra Metro, also known as Line 2, is part of the Agra Metro network.
The Blue Line is under construction, with significant progress made on various sections.
It will stretch for 15.4 km and connect Agra Cantt in the west to Kalindi Vihar in the east. The line will have 15 elevated stations.

Agra Metro Network Blue Line Extension in Phase 1

Agra Metro's Blue Line extension project involves the construction of a 15.09 km long elevated viaduct, 14 stations and a 2.61 km long depot. Larsen & Toubro (L&T) won the AGCC-07 construction contract for this line in September 2024, which includes the development of elevated tracks, stations and other key components.
