Yellow Line History, Facts & Expansion

  • The Yellow Line of the Agra Metro, also known as Line 1, is part of the Agra Metro network.
  • The first section of the line opened on 6 March 2024.
  • The Yellow Line is 14.27 km long and has 14 stations, including 6.57 km of elevated track and 7.68 km of underground section. Major stations include Sikandra, Guru Ka Tal, Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Agra Metro Network Yellow Line Extension in Phase 1

The remaining section is being extended from Sikandra to Mankameshwar Temple under the Agra Metro's Yellow Line Extension Project. This extension is part of Agra Metro's Phase 1, which is expected to be completed by 2026.
