Jaipur Metro Pink Line Extension in Phase 1C and Phase 1D

Under Phase 1C, the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) plans to extend the Pink Line from Badi Chaupar to Transport Nagar. The total length of the metro line will be 2.85 km, consisting of 2.26 km underground and 0.59 km elevated. The project was scheduled to be completed by March 2025 but fell short of schedule. After completion, the Mansarovar to Transport Nagar route is expected to carry approximately 1.38 lakh passengers daily by 2031.

For Phase 1D, the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) plans to extend the Pink Line from Mansarovar to Ajmer Road. The corporation has prepared a detailed project report (DPR) for Phase 1 after gathering public input. According to the DPR, the total length of the project will be 1.312 km, including an elevated station on Ajmer Road and a 0.357 km loop line.

Line 2 of the Jaipur Metro is set to significantly improve connectivity to the city's airport, with plans to provide direct underground passage from the Airport Metro Station to all passenger terminals. Following recent consultations between the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) and airport authorities, it was confirmed that passengers will be able to travel between the metro station and the three terminals via dedicated tunnels and supported shuttle services.
