Green Line History, Facts & Expansion

Meerut Metro Meerut Metro Green Line is an under-construction rapid transit system that will serve the city of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, India.
There is a plan to run the Green Line of Meerut Metro from Partapur to Modipuram. It will cover a distance of approximately 35.65 kilometers.
There will be a total of 17 stations on the Green Line. These stations will connect important areas of Meerut and improve connectivity for the residents.
The Green Line will have interchange stations with other lines of Meerut Metro. This interchange will allow passengers to seamlessly switch between different metro lines.
There are plans to elevate a significant portion of the Green Line, which could help ease land acquisition challenges and reduce traffic congestion on the ground.
