About Rani Kamlapati Palace
Rani Kamalapati Palace, situated on the bridge between the big and small lakes of Bhopal, was a historical palace, the residence of Rani Kamalapati. The palace is an 18th-century secular architecture built of lacquered bricks, arched on raised pillars. Raja Bhoj built the palace on the huge wall of the dam separating the two lakes. The palace has been designated as a monument of national importance by the Archaeological Survey of India.

Kamalapati Mahal is a two-storey building constructed of lacquered bricks, with arched arches supported on curved pillars, lotus petal-shaped marlas and balconies supporting the balconies.
