Rani Kamlapati Palace, located in Bhopal's Kamala Park, is an 18th-century royal residence built in 1722 by Nizam Shah for his wife, Rani Kamlapati. The palace served as a royal residence and administrative centre, symbolising the power and cultural fusion of the Gond dynasty. Spread over approximately 5 acres, this palace complex is specifically built near a water body, reflecting the Gond rulers' emphasis on fortification and natural beauty. Its architecture displays a unique blend of traditional Gond style and early Mughal influences, with intricate stone carvings, arched doorways, and decorated balconies that showcase both artistic infusion and intricate design, making it a key attraction for heritage tourism.
