About Patna Museum
Patna Museum is a state museum also known as Magic House. The museum was established on 3 April 1917 during the British rule. This museum exhibits both Mughal and Rajput styles. Some of the items present inside this museum are bronze sculptures, clothes, paintings, sculptures, bronze paintings etc. The highlights of the museum are the fossil of a tree which is about 200 million years old and a coffin which is believed to contain the ashes of Gautam Buddha.
The museum has a rare collection of paintings from the British period depicting day-to-day life, as well as a fine collection belonging to the first President of India, Rajendra Prasad. The rich collection of the museum will take you into the past to remind you of Indian history and glory.
