  • Rapid Line Built by Rapid Metro Gurgaon Limited (RMGL), the system was the world's first fully privately financed modern light metro system.

Rapid Metro Line 1 Extension Plan

The Rapid Metro Line 1 extension will cover a total distance of 28.5 km and will include 27 elevated stations. The project is estimated to cost ₹5,452 crore and construction is expected to begin by May 1, 2025. The extension will start from the Millennium City Centre metro station and move towards Cyber ​​City, passing through major areas like old Gurgaon. The project is being executed by Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL), a special purpose vehicle set up by the Haryana government.
