Bhoj Metro Green Line Overview

The Green Line is a future corridor of the Bhopal Metro (Bhoj Metro) network, planned under later phases of the city's metro master plan. It is intended to extend metro coverage to areas outside the Phase 1 corridors, but its final alignment, length and station list have not been officially approved. No construction has started. Bhopal currently operates only the Orange Line priority corridor. Green Line History, Facts & Expansion

The Green Line is a proposed future corridor of Bhopal Metro, operated by Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (MPMRCL).
Bhopal's metro master plan envisages six lines built across three phases.
Phase 1 includes only the Orange Line (Karond-AIIMS) and the Blue Line (Bhadbhada-Ratnagiri).
Earlier planning studies discussed corridors towards Bairagarh and Awadhpuri, but the final alignment has not been approved.
No construction has started on the Green Line as of October 2026.
Bhopal's Phase 1 covers about 30 km across the Orange and Blue lines.
The Green Line is listed only as a future corridor.
No funding has been sanctioned for the Green Line.
