Kanpur Metro Blue Line Overview

The Blue Line (Line 2) of Kanpur Metro is an elevated corridor of about 8.6 km from Chandra Shekhar Azad (CSA) Agricultural University to Barra-8, with 8 stations. It will serve Rawatpur, Kakadeo, Vijay Nagar and Barra in western Kanpur and interchange with the Orange Line. Major civil work is complete, and signalling and third-rail installation are under way. The Blue Line is Kanpur Metro's second corridor, from CSA Agricultural University to Barra-8.
It is planned to be about 8.6 km long and elevated, with 8 stations.
It will serve Rawatpur, Kakadeo, Vijay Nagar and Barra.
Major civil construction is complete, with signalling and third-rail work in progress.
It will interchange with the Orange Line.
The line is being built by Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC).
