The Bengaluru Metro Pink Line is set to launch soon, as officials from the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) will complete safety trials on May 12. Bengaluru residents traveling on the Namma Metro may soon be allowed to carry sealed liquor bottles, as the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) plans to amend its existing rules. Senior BMRCL officials told NewsFirst that several discussions have taken place regarding relaxing the current restrictions, including a recent high-level meeting. Officials said that the change has been approved in principle, but its actual implementation will take some time.
