The Yellow Line, Line 4, is planned from Noapara to Barasat in North 24 Parganas.
The operational section, Noapara-Jai Hind Bimanbandar, is about 7 km long with 4 stations: Noapara, Dum Dum Cantonment, Jessore Road and Jai Hind Bimanbandar.
The extension to Jai Hind Bimanbandar, serving Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, opened on 22 August 2025.
Jai Hind Bimanbandar is an underground station at the airport.
The line interchanges with the Blue Line at Noapara and suburban rail at Dum Dum Cantonment.
It is being built by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL).
Jai Hind Bimanbandar station is located inside the airport premises.
The line runs along Jessore Road.
Noapara is the interchange with the Blue Line.
The line was delayed by land and right-of-way issues.
