Pune Metro Aqua Line Extension in Phase 2
The expansion of Pune Metro's Aqua Line will include a new station at Bhusari Colony between Vanaz and Chandni Chowk. The station at Chandni Chowk will be named after the Shivsrushti project. This project is a major step towards further expanding the Pune Metro network. The expansion is expected to be completed by 2029.

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the expansion of the Pune Metro Rail Project under Phase 2. The approved project includes the construction of Line 4 and its associated spur Line 4A. The approved Line 4 is 25.52 km long and connects Kharadi to Khadakwasla via Hadapsar and Swargate through 22 elevated stations. Spur Line 4A will cover an additional 6.12 km between Nal Stop and Warje-Manik Baug, with six elevated stations. In total, the two corridors will be 31.64 km long and have 28 stations.
